Fresh paint may conceal hidden mold problems, as do appliances, cabinetry, wallpaper, and baseboards.  Also, disclosure may be lacking in regards to water damage (e.g. Bank Owned Property).

Hospitality Industry

  • Hotels and motels with constant air conditioning and poor ventilation with the outdoor environment are prime breeding grounds for mold.

Homeowners

  • Provide documentation of the presence and removal of mold for insurance or property transaction purposes;
